Skyjet Idle Problems

There seems to be a lot of advise on chinese bikes here so im hoping someone will be able to shed some light on the problem.
My Skyjet F5 has been struggling when idle for the last couple of weeks. It revs up and down fine, but when its at a constant speed the engine skips a little, and when it sits idle it wont stop at low revs and just cuts out. Im thinking it might be a problem with the idle fuel mix, but all my knowledge on engines has been learnt from this very problem (and a snapped throttle cable), and therefore im not sure which part to adjust. I can adjust the needle height and the screw below that on the carb, but until i know which way to adjust whatever needs adjusting to solve the problem, i dont want to touch anything. I know a lean mix is bad for the engine and im a little worried that this might be the issue.
All your advise will be massively appreciated.

Iv got another bike, this is just something i use to get to work and back and to get a feel for how the engine works and what not, so im not too bothered if its a shit bike or not, its like a little mechanical pet.
Let me Re-phrase, USEFUL advice would be appreciated.
