Getting my bike delivered to germany?

Selling my bike on ebay and i have a german guy wanting to buy it but he's now asking if i can arrange delivery

Could this be some sort of scam? I told him i'd only accept cash (uk£)

At first he was talking about coming over and riding it back there,but now he's saying he's got a bad back.(i explained to him the bike was not built for motorway use- 230cc 2 stroke with knobbly tyres)

So any opinions ?

I told him that i expect the full amount in cash before i let go of the bike.

What's my options for getting the bike delivered there? sounds really expensive.I'm assuming he'd be paying me the full price + delivery costs in advance straight into my bank account (it's the only way i'd consider it)

To be honest, I wouldn't even bother. I'd rather sell for a bit less than deal with all that kind of hassle.

I've sold plenty on ebay and ignore these requests, you'll find out
the delivery and he'll prob not get in touch again....ignore him

I'm hoping for £1000 for the bike. Am i being too greedy?
Had a few offers so far but even the highest was only £850 lowest being £500 I'd rather keep it than sell it for less than a grand.
