Bored last night I thought I go for on the bike. About half a mile down the road I go past some traffic police (in one of those fast volvos) - Bob's your uncle they turn around and start following me.

At first I thought 'Gits' but then I remembered that I've just had my MOT - I'm completely road legal!

So, I then take the nice policemen round all the boring 30mph road round where I live, and as many speed bumps as I can find!

About 5 minutes into it they get bored and turn off onto some road away from me. Enjoying myself far too much I turn around and start following them! Less amused they went on faster roads and dual carriageways, I stayed with them for ages!

Anyways, this amused me for another 10 mins or so until I got bored and blasted off down some side road!

Good one, but be careful, they can bite.

I was once following a police car and pulled over behind him when he stopped.

He got out, I got out.

He started to ask what I was doing?

I pointed out that his brake lights weren't working...............in a public spirited kind of way.

He thought I was taking the mick, however laughed (briefly) when he realised I wasn't.

(Apologies, that was amusing at the time, but now "in post form" comes over as bad as some of the Letterbox letters in VIZ).

Following Plod for a laff, hmmmmmm, never thought of doing that ... must try it.

You could always try telling them you were not from the area, and got lost and were following them in the hope that they would lead you eventually back to town (wherever that happened to be) or to the high street.
