I've asked before, and all the mounting points are different, aswell as tank and seat shape.

I'm also doing twin cans on my hornet Wink

Its supposedly not. I guess if you have an 03- Hornet might be different, but it was completely different from my 98 Hooner.

Just ordered my twins Very Happy It doesnt look THAT odd, and i might even think about cutting my rear fairing before it all goes off to paint, to create dual cut outs.

It will probably fit with a bit of bodging.

The '03 fits just fine onto my '98 frame. I jut had 2 make 2 holes slightly bigger by the grab rail and voila fits spot on.

I think the frame is slightly different for the 900, what with being a bigger engine, etc.

TBH, 2 cans on a Hornet is pointless. What a way to make your bike slower Wink

Not according to Scott.

Similar to stock can.
More Balanced COG
With correct tuning, higher power.

Also sounds and looks better Twisted Evil

i must say i agree with digitalize .. even 2 gp cans wont be as heavy as the standard can, but the weight will be more evenly distributed, and i think with a good set up on carbs could get some nice gains

and like he said will sound and look amazing Wink

Personally?

Still heavier Razz

More balanced? I'd like to see you notice the difference Wink

Correct tuning? I'm guessing sutpid amounts of work as well to other parts.

If adding another exhaust would gain power then I'm sure most bikes would be fitted with 2, rather one. But of course average joe knows better than all the big companies Razz

Sound better? Entirely depends on the pipe work

Looks better? I'd say it looks odd as there's not cutout on the left unlike the 900. BUT if you do make it properly then I'll happily retract my statement but I've seen no 600 Hornet that doesn't look odd with twin cans. Razz

Im only doing it for looks and sound tbh.

If you don't like it, its fair enough, but i love the look of twin cans.

I was going to do it originally but decided not too. Razz

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and my Hornet looked bad ass as far as I'm concerned. And loads of BCF'ers too Mr. Green

It's what i've been told, and while i'm fairly sure it is true, i know it won't make a real difference.

As said, this isn't a performance upgrade.
