CBT or Mod 1 & Mod 2 Course

I am looking to get myself a bike I was orginally going to take my CBT and get a 125cc to last me a while as i gain experience, but I was looking on https://www.2wheelstraining.com/index.php/user/training_courses/6 and noticed they do courses for your Mod 1 & Mod 2, what do you guys think about just taking your Mod 1 & Mod 2 straight away or should I do my CBT and leave Mod 1 & Mod 2 for now.

The reason I ask is I will be using the bike to comute to and from work and then gym each day probably about 6-8 miles probably about 6-8 miles round trip and then for a blast on the weekends probably a hundred miles or so, I like the sports bikes e.g. RS125, Mito but being two stroke I know they are not that reliable so I was thinking it would be better to get something like a 400cc CBR or Ninja something like that, whats your thoughts.

P.S. I am only 5ft 4in so a sports bike would suite me better with the lower seat height.

that is a great school, I did my 2 day DAS wit them, passed mod 1 and 2 first time.

Doing the CBT and gaining experience is what I did before i took the DAS. I was riding on a CBT for for 7 months before i did my test Thumbs Up

I did a restricted course £480 all in (16 hours). Took about 2 months but that was becuase of the waiting list on tests.

I'd never even sat on a bike before and passed everything first time.

You still need to do a CBT before you can do your mod1 and mod 2 course. Thumbs Up

Ok I think I am going to just do my CBT for now, get a RS125 (£1.5k-£2.5k) and get some road/bike experience for six months and then do a course for my Mod1 & Mod2, I suppose nothing beats experience.
