The engines are similar, but i couldnt tell you if the mounts are identical and I doubt the electrics are identical.

The Fazer and the Thundercat have identical engines except for cams IIRC, and both of these engines are derived from the FZR. Engine mount wise both should be the same, but as someone said I've no idea what happens with the electrics.

I'd expect the FZR engine to be more similar to the thundercat than the Fazer, the Thundercat was essentially the replacement for the FZR600. The engine mounts could well be the same too.

what you want is a 94/95 FZR600 foxeye engine (the one that looks like a YZF750) the frame, tank and wheels etc are more or less the the same if you don't look at the fairing

fzr 600r 94-96 engine and thundercat are basically same engine just different pistons, airbox assembly, if you get 94-95 engine it is about 85-90 bhp but 96 engine is 100 bhp same as thundercat.
