Ready for my part 2 , been riding for over 10 years on my 125 , going for the restricted test.

Struggling to get any trainers up here so do i take a chance and give it a try then learn from my mistakes?

Or do i hold off possibly a few months until I can get training?

Or any give some good sound advise on the part 2 , as far as I am aware as long as you are giving lots of life savers etc. you should be okay.

Things you will be told.

Go DAS
Yes you can pass your A2 without lessons if you are pragmatic.
Training is always good.

Some questions can only be answered by yourself.

Good luck whichever way you decide.

A2 no lessons

You'll have bad road habits by now.
So why not get back to basics. Re-train yourself.

I practiced...alot as i'd been a cage driver for too many years.
Loads of free info/videos about, so you don't even need to buy a book.
Once you've learnt when to do your lifesavers and mirror checks, and your road positioning is correct. Then it's straightforward.

Me too! Did my CBT, and Module 1 with them in march.

Very friendly, good kit; both CG125s and GS500s, and very good instructors and office staff:wink:

I'll be going back to them in october for my Mod 2...

Well managed to get a test up here in August the nearest I could get as all the tests in Inverness are on days when i am working and cant get time off.

So any suggestions on what to do while I am waiting, I am going to take a few lessons with training if they can fit me in.

However would it be worth me going else where for the training or not as I know I can get training else where no problem, but would this help as the places i can get training have completley different road layouts etc.

+3

As for training, do you know anyone that has a full license that can go for a ride out one weekend with you? Any pointers or tips from someone watching you is always good. Buy a pair of walkies if you haven't already and wire them up for bike2bike.
