how many miles she got on her? i'd be weary of ktm that age - especially an SM that gets ragged on the road.

Its only got 600 miles on it, and the speedo is overreading massivly, apprently im doing 116mph in 5th :/ Its because the dash is setup up for the 21" front wheel. One owner from new. All MOT's back up mileage and just the general condition etc is proof enough.

It came with both sets of wheels matt, Original tyres still not used! Hoping to take it to a trf day at the musbury track this sunday, break it in abit Wink

sounds good. My speedo does the same. But i wouldnt get your hopes up at the milage. When the battery on the clocks is taken out, the milage resets to 0... And the batteries dont last 7 years.

Also, make sure you get some metal wraparound handguards. The plastic ones are shit. And i mean proper shit.

My 520 blew up the other day, so im jealous Sad

I wouldn't get metal handguards, I was riding with a friend at an MX track, he fell off and the metal handguards bent, crushing his fingers and then he couldn't get them back out again, it was not nice! Very nice bike though, I love my KTM's, there awesome bikes off road!

yeah, i mean the impact that bent the metal would have been much better off taken by his hand.

The problem wasn't the impact, the problem was his hang getting stuck as the bike tried to do a few flips after him coming off.

I was gonna post "those wheels look like they'd be terrible" in the mud when I first saw the thread, but thought it might be taken in the correct light Smile.

Anyway, for off-roading, I would look at some better hand guards - I had similar looking ones (yours may be tough) and they were both off by the end of the first lap of a Hare and Hounds! Mine were motocross ones designed to stop rocks being flung up, but not branches, or in my case, the ground!

Ive got 1 month left on my restriction,

And yeh G, the hand guards are terrible, Like you say could for keeping off rocks and stones but not much cop for anything else. I had Acerbis Rally 2's on my CRM and they were brilliant, dropped it twice while out laning and they coped fine. Will have to invest in a set of those for this one i rekon, Unless you can reccomend some better? I think the rally 2's are around 50 quid

I dunno - but make sure you get some that are made to fit fat bars - last lot on my 200 I had gaffa taped on with just the bar-end bolt at the end.
