My uncle is still looking for his bike and one of these has come up close by at a decent price.

After hunting around I've found it has:

4 stroke Yamaha engine
USD Showa forks
Galfer wavy discs

But does anyone know any more about them in terms of reliability etc?

Thumbs Up

should be pretty decent if it has that engine and normal maintenance.

That's what I was thinking. Most likely I'll be the one maintaining it Rolling Eyes Laughing

So far mines been fine. Spanish brand with a proper Yamaha r125 engine in. I guess reliability motor wise its about the same as the Yamaha r125... My god I am un helpful....

On the upside about it its a good size for a 125 race rep thing. Much bigger than the CBR's and Kymcos so if you (or your uncle) are above 4 foot nothing they are quite comfy. Razz

On the upside I have the manual for it as a PDF, ill upload it somewhere and try to have it in the manual thread by the end of the night if you want a gander.

OK cool. Yeah he doesn't really like the CBR because of the size and the Yamaha is a bit on the £££ side so I showed him the Hyosung which he liked but then he saw one of these at a dealer near by so I said I'd check it out for him

Ok, Linkage, never set media up on my site before, so please tell me if it works or not Smile The book is in 3 languages. Spanish, French and English, English being the last section of it.

On sizes, it seems to be about the same height as the 400cc-600cc sports bikes I park by at Sainsburys, think the Hyosungs are about the same. Ahh another thing, I keep hearing all the Spanish brands are highly strung? Also told that doesn't make much difference on 125 4 strokes, but thought it worth mentioning.

Will be good to see how it compares to my old CBR

Not meaning to be picky or anything but the engine in your bike is not the same as in the YZFR125, yours is the same that is fitted to the XT125x older air cooled lump.

So this is where my post ended up Neutral

Laughing

As for engine the R125 is a 4 stroke 4 valve and the Rieju is a 4 stroke 2 valve

Makes no difference to me though Laughing
