Who carries a knife whilst riding their bike? One that's easily accessible anyway. Bizarre.

Quite a lot of people I know are interested in "decorative cutlery".

But even just seeing the aftereffects of a rather large knife wound on a friend of mine, I can't say that I would carry a weapon as "protection" that could be taken off me and used against me to negative effect.

Keys between the fingers usually make enough damage to stop an attacker and their DNA can be taken from any skin you happen to snag off them if you dig in hard enough Smile

If an attacker had a gun and used it ... well, I'd be dead.
*shrug*

Nasty bit of road rage, though. I tend to take the tack that buses have signs on them saying Please Let The Bus Go First ... so I do. Its London, its easier to do so.

If the bus driver was being a bit of a knob head, and put the biker's life at risk then had it been me in that position, he would have been as much up for a slap or at least a serious ear bashing as anyone else. But otherwise, live and let live.
