I had a 2006 R6, and now I have a 2009 CBR, the R6 was a more fun bike, it was very agile, and had super sharp handling. The CBR is a better road bike, its just as fast through the bends as the R6, but not quite as fun. I loved the R6 and would definitely have another one, there really good bikes. They are quite twitchy, but there great fun. There pretty fast aswell, although they dont make ANY power until 10,000rpm, so you do have to have them in the right gear to get the best out of them, all adds to the enjoyment though!
Out of that list though, I'd probably get the SP1 or an SP2, because I love them, not going to be as flickable as the R6 though! ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR

The R6 is definitely not boring, I used to love riding mine, I would be grinning constantly whilst riding it!
The best thing to do is test both and decide for your self! ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR

Just because its rated the top sports road bike by MCN does not mean its going to be exciting. The CBR is rated the top sports road 1000cc bike and it is a bit bland and boring. I'd try the R6 and SP and see which one you prefer. The R6 is very good fun, as Iv'e already said, I used to love riding mine, would get off it with a big grin on my face! Try every bike out, but I think you will find the SP and R6 the most entertaining out of all the bikes! ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR
