Well, the money cleared back into my account today from the card, so everything is sorted.

Yesterday, I went to Raceway Motorcycles in Fleetwood to test ride another Duke and it was in absolute pristine condition. Took it out for an hour, rode so much better than that piece of shit I had last Friday.

Anyone ever been to Raceway Motorcycles? Massive place with tonnes of bikes and the owner who I was speaking to is a genuinely nice bloke and very helpful.

Anyway, put the deposit down this morning to make sure it doesn't get sold and going picking it up tomrorow!

I prefer all black! First thing I want to do, get rid of that front mud guard and put one from a 625 or something on it, possibly even EXC headlight but I kind of like the stock lights on it.

I reckon this looks the bollocks with the headlight / mud guard changed...

Are those blue bits on the downpipes intentionally there or did heat do that?

I saw ones like that on a speed triple and I think they look nice like that!

Bike cost £2,900

Will deffo be putting some aftermarket cans on it in the future, the stock cans sound really quiet idling but quite loud when you open it up.

Those bits on the downpipes are from heat I think, don't think they're supposed to be like that, I have a similar colour on my ninja link pipe.

Deffo getting rid of the mud guard straight away, have to see about the lights after the guard is on, makes it look more like the competition bikes with both of them mods.

Won't be coming squires mate, got work on Sunday.

In comparison to that other one, I could not believe my eyes. It has been exceptionally well looked after for a 6 year old bike. The dude must of only pulled it out on sunny dry days.

Apparently it came in for an MOT a few weeks ago and whilst he was waiting, he took a Ducati Hypermotard out and traded his in for it when he came back.

I'm not looking forward to the motorway ride back tomorrow though!

very nice, pretty much the same as mine.

I did this > https://tonysleep.co.uk/dukepipe to my exhaust cans and they sound really good and a fraction of the cost of after market cans. Also remove the airbox cover if you haven't already.

Just make sure you re-jet it after. Oh and a 16 tooth front sprocket makes it wheelie alot easier.
