D'oh. Check out this bloke. Hardly out of the coned off area and stuffs his bike (skip to 50 seconds onwards if you're impatient).

Ouch. I thought the crash was going to be the on board bike. He was going decent speed, fast but slow enough to avoid trouble. Then that knob flew past looking a bit carried away Laughing

He doesn't look to have fucked himself up too bad though i'm sure the wind has just been knocked out of him and i doubt he'll be back on a bike this side of christmas Laughing

Camera bike did well to miss the bits.
Something similar happened to me and I had a load of camping gear on board. A bike overtook me approaching a roundabout then went down due to braking hard on oily mess.
I just stopped with a slight bump into the downed bike's tank.
His bike was a total write off, my tent moved forward 6 inches Mr. Green

Bell-end! Hardly even a bend. He got too close to the leading bike after cresting the hump and stood himself up on the brakes.

He also came past the camera-bike closer than a gp250 rider, who as said did well to miss the wreckage.

It's interesting to see the terms twat, bellend, knob etc. used to describe this idiot who binned a perfectly good bike coz of his impatience to impress.

There is a core of sympathizers on bcf who will think this was a demonstration of Balls and Courage. Smile

I always use the same sort of language when plonkers hurt themselves doing totally unnecessary 'stunt's to show off.

Hell mend them. Neutral

Awesome bike...Useless rider. You can spot the ones with their ass superglued to the seat a mile away. Rolling Eyes Gotta hate n00b riders that think their gods gift to riding. They dont realise there's more to riding...

Not to mention the overtake was rediculous. Not that it matters too much on the TT but still.

Crash looked pretty cool... Debris and everything - Front row seat Razz

Quite obvious that tit has no clue what he's up to. I just feel sorry for that poor bike, going to a waste on a talentless amoeba.

I don't see how he managed to fuck that up so badly. He was barely even lent over. Why stand on the brakes just because of the bike infront? He could easily have got the bike much further over and just gone up the inside of him...

Both lead riders messed up on that corner.
Right pair of flaps...1 flap fell off.

Perhaps the most annoying thing about knobheads like this is the huge amount of inconvenience they cause everyone else. During race fortnight when the mountain section is one way the road policing unit have a policy of closing the road for even the smallest incident whilst those involved and damaged vehicles are cleared and the accident is investigated, this can sometimes take several hours.

Keeping the mountain one way for a fortnight instead of only on Mad Sunday has dramatically reduced the number of serious head on collisions but there are still a large number of unnecessary single bike accidents like this one.

I feel sorry for the many visitors who pay good money to come to the island specifically to ride the course on non race days, in particular the unrestricted one way run over the mountain section. Over the past few years the mountain section seems to be closed almost as often as it's open.

I'm with these, he didn't seem to try and avoid the blatant verge?

I reckon target fixation on the bike in front, then the bank.

Could have easily cracked it over and still made it. There's always one though.
