I personally don't see the appeal of a character on screen replicating my moves or talking to a virtual boy. Amazing technology & i'd like to try it but it just seems like it'll appeal more to kids or when you have friends over.
The games are obviously going to be limited & from what i've seen, they do look very bland & unexciting.
Be interesting to see how responsive it is, especially that racing game.
If they could somehow create 'virtual' controls so you could play more in depth games it'd become even more interesting. But i don't see how just with 2 hands & voice control.
It's cool tech & i guess it's a start but doesn't look too appealing at the mo.

I couldn't agree more.
I have watched them videos a shit load of times and I still can't figure out if the first one is staged. Is it just a video and she just talks between the bits to make it look real or is she actually talking to Milo. ____________________ Current: Honda Nsr 125

I've had my 360 since Sept 2008, so must be due its first RROD soon, so once it does will get myself one of those shiny black ones.
I wouldn't bet on seeing another next generation console for a while yet. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Peter Molyneux telling us how great a new product is going to be. I'm sure we can trust him 100%, there's no way he'd ever over exaggerate or flat out lie about what it is capable of. He's always been such an honest gentleman in the past.
I'm looking forward to seeing what actually gets released but don't have big hopes for it after the very scripted examples they've given so far. |

Perfect. It will match my TV now as well. Now, how do I manually RROD my current Xbox? I can't possibly justify another Xbox to my other half mid-way through saving for a wedding?! ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Looks very similar to my desktop PC, but I think MS have missed the boat with a few things with this release though... e.g...
Bluray drive - having the capability for playing bluray movies, games would have to remain on DVD to keep backwards compatibility.
No HDMI 1.4 port - would help with the move to 3DTV etc..
Gigabit ethernet for media streaming - just no excuse not to include it these days.
Allow users to replace their own Hard drives with capacity of choice, there's no reason apart from MS wanting to dictate prices for a pitiful 250GB size.
With the inclusion of above, there would be far fewer reasons to buy a PS3. |

I'm not impressed with natal/kneict/PSMove, I dont want to bounce around my living room and lose weight.
I'd rather sit on my arse with a nomral controler.
All this stuff is purley aimed at the casual market, basically trying to cath up to the wii, nintendo expsoed a massive gap in the market and microsoft/sony are struggeling to catch up.
Us core gamers need not worry, we'll still get our normal goodies
Impressed with how quiet the new one is ____________________ Flounced - Long overdue
