send a letter admitting it, saying it was an unfamiliar road, and you were certain it was a 40, and explain the situation with insurance, and that 3 points and £60 is excessive and request a course.
i know some solicitor cunt who did this and got a driver awareness course. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. got the nip yesterday
so where do i send this letter?
but even if i do the course and get points removed, the insurance will ask if i have ever been convicted, and the answer will still be yes, so my insurance will still be sky high? ____________________ When this baby hits 88 miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit. |

3 points makes shit all difference.
Ive got 3 points and 1 accident (no claim made) and my insurance is £200 on an R6 at 21 with
3 years ncb.
It was about £300 with 2 years ncb. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!

I got 3 points and a £60 fine last July, yet in October my insurance still went down.
So don't sweat it..

its gona make a hell of a difference to car and bike insurance
but can anyone answer my questions?
if i do the course and get points removed, the insurance will ask if i have ever been convicted, and the answer will still be yes, so my insurance will still be sky high?

You'll probably be given the option of taking a Speed Awareness Course.
Still costs £60 but you don't get the points and it doesn't affect your insurance because you don't need to declare it, even if you did it wouldn't make any difference ____________________ ZX6R F3 |

When you say "get points removed" are you saying you already have points on your license?
If you havn't had confirmation of the punishment then you have no points on your license yet anyway. ____________________ ZX6R F3 |

It's up to the police wether you are offered a speed awareness course or not, not all areas offer them. you could write or phone and ask.
If you get the offer, take it. It's 4 hours and not as bad as you might think. It will still cost you £60 though.
No points will be added to you license, so you will not be "convicted" of any offence, also the courses are confidential, you have no obligation to inform your insurers at all. I didn't.
good luck.
Dog
p.s.
keep everything, including the envelope from the NIP. fill it in naming yourself as driver and post it back RECORDED..............or...........SPECIAL DELIVERY.
just so you have proof of postage.
attach a letter if you like, asking about speed awareness courses. but STAPLE that to the form...(very important..the staple)
have a squint at pepipoo if you like, but be very careful on there not to identify yourself, the scamera partnerships monitor the site, and it is infested with coppers anyway. ____________________ I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you heard is not exactly what I meant |

awareness courses are not offered in every county, in addition the number of places is limited.
What you have to do now is ensure you name yourself as driver within the time limit( S72).
Howeverat your age the worry would be the next potential three points leading to a licence revoke (assuming your bike licence is full).
If you got the points on provisional then still leaves you 6 to play with on full car licence.
Has the NIP been issued within the 14 days?
Post on pepipoo, nothing to lose and whilst there you might pick up some info for the future
EDIT: did you not post a couple of months back that you were "racing" a r6 or something and got flashed by a gatso? ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! "
