One of the teachers at my kids school died after a collision with two cars yesterday, though no-one's sure what exactly happened yet. Sad

From what I've heard, he was only 39 or something too. Very sad.

condolences to his family, poor guy. always sad to hear of a death. i just hope it wasnt some stupid mistake that caused it on either side. either way its a great tragedy.

Sad im sure the people who knew him will miss him.

One of the lads I know from a local bike meet died last week after a collision with a car. The driver of the car was overtaking a cyclist and thought he would get back into his lane before he hit the motorbike head on. Unfortunately he died the day before his daughter's birthday and his own wedding anniversary.

It is sad when you hear of a biker being killed, but we should all realise that we run that risk ourselves every time we take our bikes out.

That makes me fucking furious... yes it sucks being in a car stuck behind some slow berk on a bicycle but waiting another ten seconds so there's nothing coming the other way is NOT a big deal.

I came up on a Beds Direct truck unloading someone's new bed and mattress... I could see a guy on a CBR coming the other way and because I wasn't sure how quick he was coming stopped and waited and flashed him. He wasn't going as quick as I thought but he still give a grateful nod as he passed, wonder if my biker nod registered back. Ten seconds it cost me, to be sure it was totally safe.

RIP bikers. Ride safely, all.

So true.... the car driver should be charged with man slaughter which is what it is!
