I stand corrupted
No offence intended squire
I just though that it might be the sort of place
a shabby old cove like meself might slip in quiet like see?
and not get turfed out for 'lack of moral fibre' and
wearing a gaberdine mac and plimsolls.
Heres the Mongrel
Built from left overs of various CX's mostly.
Based on a 78 frame it has an 82 Eurosport motor
Kawasaki master cylinder and braided hoses up front
Suzuki clocks
MZ screen and gaiters
BMW horns
wired it all up myself and it all works
and has been pretty reliable until recently
It still runs but I have a problem with the cooling system which may be the rad cap
opening at too low a pressure and filling the expansion bottle if I'm lucky,
but I think its more likely a head gasket leaking and over pressurising the coolant

Is the pink thing below the right cylinder the expansion tank? I didn't think it was supposed to go there. Love the bath tap on the rad and the magic tree |

Yep the Eurosport Transistorised ignition motor is longer
than the original 78 CDI ignition motor and the bottle usualy sits down between motor an frame so I stuffed it behind the crash bars.
As I mentioned earlier, its filling and over flowing with coolant and I'll have to look into that soon
(and change the air freshener as well ) |
