Farmyard Party, June

Seeing as the nabd has only just been and gone i guess its time for the next excuse to sit in a field, with an oversized campfire getting hammered.

There are a good few of us riding up from Liverpool on the 18th June for the Farmyard Party.

Last years was epic, and the weather was awesome.

I don't have a running bike today, it didn't run yesterday but it ran the day before. It won't run tommorow but it might run for a day or two next week lol. Thats how it goes lol.

I think I might have to give this one a miss and come next year. If I had known about this I could have planned and saved ahead.

ill be on the m62 by 1030 at the latest. On a blue/black cbr600f3 2up with panniers, a dude on a black cbr600f4 2 up and a dude on a sliver zx6r.

I'm probably going. How early I set off depends on how tired I am (I'm working the late shift this week. ). But I do want to be there AM. If I see you I'll tag along for the ride if you're not doing silly speeds. If I don't see you I'll PM you my number we can meet up for a beer?

I would hope I'll be arriving before you lot, but as the CB will be loaded with pillion and huge tent it might take me a while.

We'll be taking the A/B road route from Rochdale straight there, have a nice ride while we can.. don't think i'll feel up to an A/B road blast on the way home!

They'll be starting to arrive today.

Golden rule - take sunscreen or wear a hat.
It's not all that hot but the sun is ferocious.
In normal daily routine you're in and out of the sun and it's easy to get complacent.
Almost every year when it's not raining there are lobsters on parade.

And drink water as well as beer

Bandit is all packed up ready to go:

- Soft panniers with my clothes, sleeping bag and cooking gear in.
- 2 two man tents (one for pillion)
- one roll mat
- one air bed (for pillion)
- one big furry blanket thing (for pillion)
- tank bag for 'stuff' (torch, money, food, etc.)
- backpack for pillion's 'stuff'

Quite a tall pack Bungee'd and strapped onto the back of the bike.. doesn't help with her being jacked up about 55mm

Can't wait now, breakfast early in the morning then off we go!
