when buying an NSR is there any well to tell if its UK spec, like a number you can ring to trace the frame number or anything?

obviously if it does 100 its ok, but what if its still restricted how can you tell then?

If you're riding one it'll top at 85mph, a Uk restricted bike will go 75mph...

If you're buying one, just check the V5 and it'll tell you if it's an import.

Not sure they do any more. OK if it is a 2nd hand import then it will say previously registered abroad, but most 2nd hand imports will be old enough to be full power. They used to say on the log book about imported vehicles, but I think there was some outcry about this and I think it was dropped a year or 2 ago (on cars at least)

All the best

Hi

N reg would be '95/'96 which I think is before the Italian market bikes were restricted so with any luck it is likely to be full power

All the best
