ZZR Fuel Relay

Hello all,

I've got a ZZR400 import. The fuel lights aren't working and when I bought the bike the guy I bought it off pointed out a connector that should have a relay attached that runs the lights. Unfortunately the relay broke, he removed it and then lost it.
I'm having problems finding a replacement. Can anyone point me in the right direction

As far as I know the ZZR400 is just a ZZR600 with a sleeved down engine so just look for the equivalent 600 part, a microfiche should help which google will probably turn up or a Kawasaki dealer, Cradley stock pretty much everything if you struggle.

Fuel Relay = Flash Relay


first download the manual "Haynes ZZR600" as follow :

Go to chapter "Electrical system page 9-12" "fig. 17.9" "jump wire B and L" ,

When fuel out the light will "on" but not flash, no need relay!

Try it at your bike first "ZZR400 Turn signal relay" will find the mark on the bottom (flash relay) " B & L "

If you insist Honda flash relay will a good choice e.g CBR1100XX.!
