hi, as i have nearly finished my rd125lc, been looking for another project and i have bought this of ebay, it Ereg with three spoke
conversion its in a sorry state and need a lot of work, but no rush to do it, he said it did run but it need ring, it has plenty of compression so i dont think need ring,and he been messing with carb, not check for spark yet, will have this weekend want to get running before i strip it.

So is that running 17" wheels front and rear now? if so, MUCH better than the stock 18/16 setup. Laughing


I've just rebuilt a 2RK engine for my Hybrid pit bike. Such easy engines to work on. Very Happy

Engine of that age, It's probably worth doing the crank seals, And any other bits and pieces you can get your hands on along the way.


I think I paid around £70 for a new Mitaka Piston, Rings, Gudgeon Pin, Little bearing, Gasket set (Full), Water pump seal, and Crank seals.

It's not a hard job to do all the above either. And once it's done, You know it's good. Cool

update frame sprayed, wheel done in matt black, forks seals to do this week, next weekend refit engine and get running righ got new carb of ebay.

update, not far off finishing, belly to be sprayed, sort the wireing out got it running now
