Wink Just got back into bikes after years of comfort in cars!
Had the urge to finally get my test sorted, so came over to the UK in march and tried to get everything done in a week Laughing
Could've managed it with another 2 days, but I couldn't spare the time...and am now kicking myself! Still, I got my theory,CBT, and module 1 on the 500 out the way.

Hoping to get back over in october to finish off, between work here in Turkey, and winter work in Asia. I've just read that you have to leave 10 days between test attempts so I'll only have one chance Surprised hopefully I won't cock it up!

I used to ride 125s (and the occasional 250!) when I was young, but never got round to doing my test. Well, actually I did do it once, but a snapped speedo cable on the way to the test rather put paid to any real chance of passing! Peed off that I didn't persevere though...

Anyway, I've got a Turkish copy of the old style CG125 to practice on here. The scenery is stunning, but the roads and driving styles here leave a bit to be desired...still, if I can survive here, I can manage anywhere I suppose.
I'm doing a fair bit of touring on it, with the missus as pillion; It's slow but sure, and needs a rest after a hill(and there are lots here!).

I've been tempted to buy something bigger here but getting nicked here for no licence could be tricky, although the chances are small as the rozzers don't seem to give a toss especially on the 125. No-one rides with a helmet, and the driving standards are abysmal. They're only interested in nicking people for speeding...sound familiar?!

Sooo, just killing time browsing this extremely useful forum until I can ride a real bike Wink

Andy
