How awesome was the moto2 race.

Crackin' race for 2nd and 3rd.

It was made all the more interesting for me as I've got Jorge and Dovi in my MCN Fantasy Team, and Spies pipping Hayden to 3rd has done me a favour too Laughing .

I was shitting bricks when de Puniet was behind Dovi, I was envisaging Randy taking them both out.

And i've just done 90 on the A6 in Manchester...and my jacket was unbuttoned at the neck.

Seriously quick..what the hell does 200mph actually feel like? Shocked

A bit quicker than 199mph, but slightly slower than 201mph.
Thumbs Up

Closest i've managed was a shade over 180mph on a borrowed Gixer thou down the A10. It felt very similar to the (indicated) 175mph i got out of my 750, but a little bit quicker, and a little bit noisier. I found at these speeds you come up on traffic very quickly, as you're generally doing at least double their speed.

I always thought that going faster, was faster than fast, just needed to be told.

It makes your eyeballs wobble if you put your chin on the tank.

I noticed that some of the stands had loads of empty seating and many of those who were in the stands looked like they were attending a funeral.

Absolutely fantastic 125 race, they really did save the best for last.

At this point I'd be happy to scrap the MotoGP class and split the riders between 125s and Moto2 - the racing is so much better.

Sitting in grandstands at racing is pretty rubbish, you feel quite isolated from the action. The run offs at Silverstone are big anyway, so not many people would pay extra to sit even further away from the action.
I was there on Saturday, clapped a little when something impressive happened, like every time De Puniet came past sideways Cool
Maybe I looked like I was at a funeral but getting excited and screaming at stuff is generally done by gays or people watching football Thumbs Up

That was a heroic save. Did you see his leather's in the post race interview. There was a big hole where he picked the bike up on it. Cool
