Bike Advice

Hey guys,

After some advice, will be doing my Mod 2 test soon & just looking at some bikes to get. Looking at getting a 400cc bike, been looking at either the Honda vfr 400 nc30 or the Honda cbr 400.

Can anyone advice on pros n cons for these bikes as someone told me the vfr 400 is a revvy bike.

there alright ish bikes for new riders,but finding a decent one which hasn't been ragged is your main thing

Pro for an NC30 - they look great and I love the sound

Con - if you're anything near 6 foot you'll be practically rimjawwing

Get a naked 600, the same insurance group as sports 400s. The SV650 is a couple of group lower IIRC. Generally newer bikes for the same money, and they haven't all been thrashed within an inch of their life. They also have no plastics for you to scuff when you drop it.

It'll be very tricky to find an unmolested 400 for sensible money.
