HOTWIRING?

Hi all,
i thought i would post in here, as well as in the workshop section, in an effort to generate more replies.
ok, i "acquired" (legitimately) a CCM604 recently, but it came in boxes, so i had the relatvely easy job of puting it all back together, without a manual of any kind nor a decent picture of a similar bike, so i was doing it "blind",so to speak.
anyway, i have put it all back together, resprayed all the plastics,polished all the metal bits & changed all the fluids.
it passed an mot recently & i think the bike is a whole lot of fun, compared to my usual 2 strokes & race style bikes.
however i have 1 item left to do, before i can call it "finished".
the ignition.
up till today, i have had it "hotwired", (a piece of wire was bridging" 2 crimp connectors together) & it ran fine, although this means that anyone could ride it!
this is not ideal, as you can imagine, so i would like to get the ignition switch working, as i now have the keys.
problem is i dont know which wires connect where!
the back of the ignition/key switch has 4 connectors, usefully marked 1 to 4.
the 4 loose wires are YELLOW,BLACK,BLACK with a white trace, & another BLACK!
i have tried randomly connecting the wires up, but so far i have had no luck,
anyone any ideas what wires should go where? (or how i could work it out, using a multi-meter & the process of elimination)
i would like to be able to take the bike out & be able to leave it parked up,without worrying someone could jump on it & ride off at any time!

Put meter on any 2 with switch in on position ,keep trying any 2 until you get a full scale reading ,turn switch off ,meter should drop to zero?yes?those are the 2 wires ,feed the coil through those

To stop your bike you need a push stop or an ignition switch ,if you wire the IGNITION coil through the switch it will "kill" the coil feed when switched off,or if its leccy start wire the starter soleniod through the switch ,just do something to stop it starting without being turned on Laughing
