Just in case anyone is thinking of buying one for the bike, just a heads up that this guy is doing them for less than a tenner, with free p+p;

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mini-DV-DVR-Spy-Camera-Video-recorde-sound-sensor-30-FP-/220616704195?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Camcorders_Professional_Video_Cameras&hash=item335dc7c0c3#ht_4465wt_902

They take a while to get here, but so cheap it's worth the wait. I've got two of these now, and one of the key ring type (although they don't seem to be quite as stable as the MD80 copies).

Good find though, i have a real one, payed £60 for it and the sports kit when it first came out.

Heres a preview of the quality.

I have one of those, it's not bad considering the price. Has a sound activated function too - used it when there were prospective tenants viewing my house to make sure the gypos kept their hands to themselves Thumbs Up .

Search MD80 on here.

Title is 'trackday camera' or something like that.

Yeah, I know there's a long one already, but as these are so cheap I thought I'd create a fresh one to draw attention in case anyone missed it.

Those aren't even genuine MD80'd so this thread is pointless.

They're fakes.

Take a better look on ebay and there are UK supliers of the same thing.
OK you pay a few £ more, but get a faster service and a good quality product.

Oh and the key ring ones have a issue with filming for more than 30 mins, have very poor battery life (can't run via usb charge and film at same time)

Apologies if I didn't make that clearer, but I thought it was obvious they were copies. You don't get genuine MD80 cams for a tenner.

That said, it's still not pointless, as they still great little cameras and incredible value, and hopefully someone will pick one up who might not have done, and it'll save them a couple of thousand, just like my first one did.

Yep, I got a keyring one too and you're right, they're not terribly good tbh. I keep mine on the keyring so it's there if I need to film something quickly. Whether there'll be any charge left when I actually do need it is another question! Very Happy
