'Cos they is well cool, brov. Aside from that; accent and laziness.

Don't think it's the same, because it's more like all black people say it. Just wondered if it was some sort of cultural thing?

Mate of mine used to say chimley instead of chimney... used to do my tits in.. singing the song:

what she gonna look like with a "chimley" on her!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzBZmQHygRY

Tuuuneee!!!

Cool

I've got nothing interesting to share today.

In that case, my pet hate is double negatives and I've started picking people up on it in public. It drives me mental. Example;

"I didn't do nothing with that."

So you actually did something with it then, fucktard?

No, if you say 'drawer' and it sounds like 'draw' that's okay. But people actually *type* it.

A Kiwi Colleague of mine went out to Hungary recently, and the Hungarian guys, whilst being extremely intelligent, and having very good English just could not understand some things that my Kiwi colleague said.

One hungarian guy called Tamas said to me: "I spoke to the New Zealand guy, and couldn't understand when he kept saying that his notepad was on the 'disk'. "

I had to translate and tell him his notepad was on the desk... Laughing

'Off of' - as in 'Get off of me'
'Different to'
Schedule with a 'Sk' instead of a 'Shh'
Another vote for the double negatives, 'I ain't never done nothing' is a common one around my way, exactly WTF does that mean?

The single most annoying thing in the English language is saying LEND instead of BORROW and vice-versa.

"ere mate can i lend a ruler?"

In the estate where i work the word 'borrow' doesn't seem to exist...unless used incorrectly such as "ere mate, borrow us a pen" Silence

I was working in London yesterday and someone had written '"Do not put nothing on top of this piece of paper"' so I put a box on it.

There you have, possibly, the most common mistake in the English language! The thing is, most people probably couldn't tell you why it's wrong.
