Advice... don't speed and don't crash. Razz

Show me tell me stuff is basic stuff like how you'd check the engine oil level or brake fluid levels, lights, horn, tyres, chain, etc etc. They also ask stuff about taking a pillion passenger such as what you should tell that person, what changes you might need to make to the bike and about what will be different when riding the bike with a pillion.

Fairly common sense answers i think, like you should tell a passenger to lean with you etc, and expect the bike to accelerate slower, and also stopping distance will increase when carrying a passenger.
bike adjustments are headlight trim and suspension i think.
Hope this helps

Can i ask was the test expensive for you? (125 or 500cc bike) and how many days training did you do? Just so i can get a rough idea of how difficult it will be for me at 17 like yourself.

Right okay, i did Theory test (£31), one training day with module 1 included (£110)(failed), 2x Module 1 (2x£15.50)(failed twice passed 3rd time), and 2x Module 2 (2x£75), so it came to a total of £322 (eeep).

Thats probably quite a reasonable price to pay compared to what i payed Crying or Very sad I didn't pass both parts until 3rd time AND I ended up changing schools to pass mod 1. I think if i actually took the time to work out how much i've spent on the test all together i may end up doing something i'd later regret Laughing

So i wouldn't worry about it Ben Whitcher, the chances are if you get a decent school you shouldn't have to spend much more than you have to!
