Cardiff to Brecon for a breakfast roll, approx 45 miles each way (but wasn't a "one-off trip" because we go up there at least a couple of times a month) Thumbs Up

We used to do Leicester to the Ace for Brekkie, down the A5 on a Sunday morning is a lovely run.... about a hundred each way.

Now the Ace is only 10 minutes away I don't get there as much. Embarassed

About 900 miles to get breakfast from Barneys but it took longer than expected so breakfast was some type of energy drink. Sad

I've managed to do 366 miles for a cup of tea at Snetterton Market, and it wasn't worth it.

On Friday I went down to Devils Dyke for dinner.

Spur of the moment thing when I got home from work.

...oh, and I once did an unplanned trip when on holiday some years ago.

Breakfast in Blackpool, lunch in Carlisle, afternoon tea in Edinburgh, then return via Berwick-upon-Tweed cos we got lost, and back to where we were staying in Blackpool for a nightcap in the bar.

(...according to RAC route planner, just over 100 miles one way ie. not including the Berwick "detour") Embarassed

I used to do 250 miles straight after work on a Friday, but I was on a promise (well a few promises) for the weekend. I knew all the best places for a wee without leaving my bike out of sight between Bethnal Green and Plymouth.

I bought my fireblade via ebay. It was in Fife. I live in Poole, Dorset. Long story short, delivery company stitched me up last minute so wife and I drove up and back (me riding new fireblade) in one day. Near enough 1000 miles (500 on the bike). We decided to do it at 11pm the night before, woke up at 3am to leave. Lovely ride but took a day or two to recover! Sleeping

Just booked the GSXR in for the 14500 mile service - I bought it 18 months ago and only go out on sunny weekends. I did over 500 miles on Saturday.

I regularly do a 100 mile round trip for breakfast.

Set of for work one morning and just didn't feel like going, turned left at the end of the road instead of right and ended up going through north Yorks and up to Scottish borders. did 450 miles that day.
