Thats cause he threw it out, he can't get out whilst steering wheel is connected, it didn't break off.

Very lucky to be walking around the pits now with what looks like no damage!

With current F1 safety standards that was quite a tame crash IMO.

I did not expect him to move after that. Pretty epic crash.

Can't believe Hamilton with the safety car incident, he just hung around. A few more metres and he wouldn't have had that penalty. Brilliant that he came out in front of Ferrari.

Also, respect to the brave marshall who just ran on track to retrieve a bottle.
