Dusted off the WR and did a bit of laning today Smile

I did the southern route and the whole of the long route ontop!! Cool

Some GO-Pro HD footage of us down 'the Whoops' near Guildford!!! Cool
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_2YotmcSaI&fmt=22

Something a bit 'tighter'!! Smile
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uE2_PANle8&fmt=22

Bits kept falling off my bike!! Shocked

I lost the bolt on the end of the brush guard Rolling Eyes ... and the pin (and hence pads) out of the front brake calliper (see pics)!! Shocked

The Sand Gallops are part of the much ridiculed (usually by the more effeminate rider) Bocketts run Smile
Its that fast lane from Wooton to Coldharbour.
---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CUraFrh2_E

Your video shows The Whoops (a long lane with a series of up and down depressions .. or whoops).
And just before / or after (depending on your route direction, is the deep sand lane called (rather imaginatively) Sandy Lane.
---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwSEj0fI-Vs

Then of course we have: Tatters Corner, Toe Break Lane, Chalky Hill, The Steps, Beezebubs, etc etc.

I know, worrying or what!! Shocked The bike sure gets shaken about ... but I have to say, where it has the locknut thingy, I never really thought to check it ... and to be fair it may well have just worked loose on that ride Thinking

Wondered what these black marks/dots were on my forearm today ...

Turns out they were a set of thorns (longest one ~5mm) still in there from my ride on Sunday!! Shocked

They hadn't hurt a bit to that point ... but I cried like a baby when I took them out ... Very Happy

Bought the new Pin to go in the calliper ... it was £9.15!! and the little locking plug bit was £3!!! Shocked

£13 of bolty bit plus the new pads obviously!! Rolling Eyes

I think I know what might have educed the thing coming undone ... the front bearings being shot might have been putting a lot of strain on things down there?!!? Thinking
