Indoor circuit

Just wondered, is there any indoor circuit for full size bikes?
If there was, many riders will use it on rainy weekend.
It will be nice if there was a fully air conditioned full size indoor circuit.
What do you think of this idea?
If I could build such a circuit, it would be
-Size of Suzuka circuit
-Fully air conditioned all year
-Perfectly avoidable of raindrops (connected to parking area with huge roof)-
-24Hr open with Sufficient lights.
-Any one can use it without any license if he pay the fee.
-Practice area for beginners like gymkhana course and knee down course etc.
-There are a lot of brand new test ride bikes (BMW Ducati Triumph etc) and you can ride them without any reservation at low price and you don't have to wait at all.
-Re fuel area for free
-Perfectly safe course with a lot of ambulance and hospital next to it.

If you made it the size of Suzuka it would also have to have the run off of Suzuka, I really can't see something like that working to be honest, it would cost an absolute fortune, and I don't think health and safety would like it very much! It would be good though, but the ground would never get hot as there would be no sun, so you would have to have some form of underground heating. I'd give it a go if the track was good, but I honestly can't see you getting planning permision to build something like that!

And free fuel?? That would also end up costing you more then its worth, everyone would bring bikes with empty tanks and fill them up for free!

Nice idea, but would cost a fucking fortune.

Would probably be cheaper to put a roof over an already existing racetrack.

The gravel traps wouldn't need to be dry as it would make no difference. It would be cheaper and easier to build a roof over an existing track, but the roof supports would have to be clear of the track.

The US has a few tracks that are contained within an oval with banking and grand stands, so in theory you could cable a roof over the top.

Qatar has a flood light circuit in the desert where it only rains 5-7 days per year and is stupidly hot even at night. It's a bit of a trek away and the lights cost a fortune to run!

If the roof was made out of some kind of clear material then the sun would still heat the track?

Anyway, sounds like something only those crazy Arabs would attempt to build.

It would be multi purpose then, it would be sponsored by B&Q and grow plants around the outskirts of the track

More likely sponsored by a national chain of drug dealers growing a cannabis forrest. It would be the only realistic way of funding it all. Plus dodging the gunfire on your way around would give added novelty.

The scottish supermoto folks have access to kart tracks. I'm not entirely sure if they use the indoor tracks though.
