I got myself a one piece from j&s a month ago. Only got a 1 peice because its the best fitting leathers i had found, i tried several makes and sizes in hein gerike and j&s before deciding the set i bought was the best fit and comfiest (hard to find a good fit when your 6ft 3/6ft 4 and skinny, imagine a bean pole lol). I've only worn them a few times now and i went for a ride out in them the other day and god were they uncomfy, it would appear that i've grown once again making them too small now is there anything that can be done with them? J&S say they take no responsibility for incorrect fits so im kind of jiggered. Is it possible to get them adjusted or should i sell them and find another set that fits?
Oh and btw the leathers in question are spidi r2 wind £600

i'm a similar height to you and fit find my standard dainese 2 piece pretty comfy

Not sure if they can make them much longer though can they? need at least an inch or two adding to the length, the way they are atm they make me sit really uncomfortably and after a few miles my back hurts. Whats the resale value on a set of leather worn 3 times (about 200 miles) cost me £600?

Leathers need breaking in, like a pair of shoes. You say you've only worn them a few times. Probably means you haven't broken them in. They'll soften and stretch a bit over time. If they're stupidly small you may be able to get them altered a bit... you'll need to work out of they're too small in the leg or the torso.

I have an Arlen Ness 2-piece that I bought a year ago and I've only just broken it in. Probably means I haven't worn it enough but I bet its done a couple of thousand miles.

hmm im not sure johnny they felt nice to wear when i first got them now they just feel so uncomfy and hurt me to wear. I will have to find somewhere local and see about having them altered.

Leathers do stretch and get supple but it takes a good while... try sitting in them for a whole day and see how they turn out.

Also get some conditioner on them too, helps to break them in.

Uncomfy in what way?

I know it's not going to be the same with a 1-piece, but I found my 2-piece uncomfy in the knees. Turned out I was just wearing the trousers too high.

Well the knee protectors are too high for my knees now so they dig in my thigh slightly and they give me back pains if i sit in my normal position on the bike, to stop themgiving me back pain i have to get my arse as far back in the seat as i can and have my chest on the tank.

Hmm... they may stretch a bit over time. Can't imagine why they've shrunk unless they've got wet.

Don't think they have shrunk, just me going up lol i'll give them a bit more time if i still dont get on with them ill flog them

may be strange but with leather i find wee on them in the bath and this soften's the leather quick...use it all the time on boots

Have you tried smearing them in dog shit and licking it off?... works a treat.

Woll... if you're lucky enough that you're so young that you're still growing then I envy you but I don't know what to suggest. If you've plain old grown out of them then that's a shame but I guess you need bigger leathers. Though it sounds like if you want some that fit and aren't made to measure you'll need to put some weight on.
