I seen a motorcycle movie in Tesco the other day but didn't buy it in case it was shite. I had planned to go home and check on the internet to see if it will any good or not before parting with my hard earned £3.

However I forgot the name of it Rolling Eyes

Anyone got any other motorcycle related movies that are decent ? I know of a few of them, such as Ghostrider, wild hogs and bikerboyz. Surely there must be loads more out there cos motorcycles are quite good. Wink

Good bike films,

Worlds Fastest Indian

I liked Ghost rider, but I wouldn't call it a motorcycle movie as such. I preferred it to Spider Man, Dare Devil, Blade etc. I'd say its almost on a par with X-men.

Biker Boyz is definitely better than Torque, and in actual fact its quite a good movie right up until the ridiculous finale where they race a Hayabusa and a ZX12R in a farmers field. Its like a cross between a Hood movie (Boyz N the hood, Menace II society) and a bike movie. I think its OK, its a bit of a guilty pleasure but I watch it occasionally. However, I can't bring myself to watch Torque at all. Despite owning it on DVD. I think I've watched it once all the way through and had to reach for the sickbowl before the end. The intro is excellent, but from the first line of dialogue you know its going to be a pup.

Wild Hogs is good, but not the kind of movie I want to promote biking. We really need a Fast And Furious with bikes, and with better acting, more plot and real stunts instead of CGI. I don't think it'll happen. Biker Boyz came really close, they just screwed up on the title and the finale. If they had have called it "PureBredRiderz" or something it would have been better. Filming the finale on the drag strip that they supposedly got the boot from because "people were hurt" would have also been better.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Not so much a recommendation but for the last year or so I've been looking for 'Take it to the limit'. Similar to 'On any Sunday' but it has Mike Hailwood doing a lap of the TT.

There's also 'Faster', a sports bike documentary.
