Hello all, has anyone got some details of gearing for as many tracks as poss especially cadwell and mallory for a 2005 r1 thanks

i dont know much about gearing but i've gone -1 front +2 rear on my trackbike.

retains the same chain length but gives me a bit more pull. top ends reduced but then it'll still do 150 ish so its hardly an issue Very Happy

Gearing is dependant on rider/riding as well as track and bike.
For instance you may find that the perfect gearing allows you the confidence to increase your speed over a few sessions. However, as you’re now going faster, you actually want to up the gearing slightly so that you can keep the gear changes at a point where the bike is still stable.
