Hmm, just did one there yesterday, it went too quickly and do want another go. I will have a look to see if I can book it off/afford it etc.

Oh I cracked a 59 second lap yesterday, I know it is not amazing, but I am rather pleased as my previous times were around 1:06 earlier this year!

got an 08 zx6r that I picked up yesterday in MSS colours so should be fun but its gonna take me while to learn how to ring its neck.

was a really good day although it pissed down in the morning! went out anyway and it started drying on the 2nd session... by the 3rd power ones could come on

i must admit im not a fan of graham hill bend though, not sure why but i never get a good line into it :s

I use to hate graham hill bend but there is a knack to it and once sussed it ends up being really good fun.

the trick is too keep the line tight on the exit to druids and just drive out of the corner and DO NOT upshift, just bang the limiter, make sure you go over the white line and by then you will be ready to flip it over to its side, making sure you are keeping as far right as you can also making sure you are at full lean before you hit the armco on the left.

I really enjoyed the day, managed to get into the 55s on the zx6r but still loads to come as I was being a real big pussy with the throttle and corner speed.

im the green zx6r with red leathers playing cat and mouse. the bike dropped out of gear on the straight towards the end of the vid which is why I get gapped but all in all good fun.
the onboard rider is on a 06 gsxr750 and he also broke someones brake lever off during the start of the day on the Main straight!

looks like i have some way to go until i get times like that! Best time on the day was 1.01... but i decked my pegs out a couple of times and it really unbalanced me.

I know the tyres are more than capable but i cant bring myself to push harder because im decking the pegs out... anyone know where i can buy rearsets for a zx6r g model???

oh I had loads of fun! Its the reason I got a trackbike

Had a look on ebay and theres a few ... one set is classed as 'old shape zx6r' which could mean anything and they're not adjustable! Then there's another set that look like chinese rip-offs but are 170 quid! I would rather cheap 2nd hands to come up but they're rare as rocking horse shit!

I'm running power ones... awesome tyres especially since I had pirelli stradas on before!

Changed the power ones for stradas in the morning though as it was a soaking wet track and the stradas have a bit more tread cut into them on the edges

You planning on doing anymore trackdays mate??

I was in the fast group, they bumped me up at the beginning of the day. Raced with Keith Flint from the prodigy in that group, he never passed me , and I had some guy spank me on track called Niall Mckenzie? Dunno, apparently he is good...

I had to scrub a new tyre in as well, most probably the most scariest thing to do in that group.
