Hi, just a random question, can a full motorcycle license holder ride pillion with a provisional rider? (If the provisional is riding and full M/C holder is pillion). Because a provisional car license holder can drive as long as they have a full car license holder as passenger. Thanks

Hi

Not anymore. Used to be allowed (and I did legitimately carry full licence holders as pillions when I was a learner).

All the best

Keith

It used to be allowed to enable rider training, just like you can drive a car on a provisional provided you have a sufficiently experienced driver sat next to you.

Same here. I was stopped and the pillion had to produce his licence to prove he had a full bike entitlement.
