I used BT014's back when I had my CBR600FX, but that wasn't with long life in mind and they wouldnt do 2k!
Ive got the Pilot 2's on my hayabusa but I havent really done that many miles yet. Ive covered approx 800 miles and they are pretty much unmarked, but bear in mind when the hayabusa first came out the testers were destroying tyres well within even that margin!
The Pilot road 2's are stable, long lasting but on the other hand they werent very cheap.
The lads on UKbusas say you can see upwards of 3k on a hayabusa, so taking the extra weight and power out of the equation they should last very well on the 600
can't comment on the others though ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |

The tire of choice for the Hornets are either supercorsa's or battle axe's
I have Bridgstones, offer amazing grip, and have lasted 3k so far, plenty of life left in them.

Had them before. Never felt confident with them. Then had to change them after 4k due to wear.
So can't recommend them to you tbh.
Bridgestones inspire confidence. on par with pirelli imo, if not a little better.

Running bt02, i believe, or something like that, can't remember the code of the 2ct i ran, but imo.
Have a 17" front with a pirelli on to fit, will match it for the rear when the time comes, as i remember their quite good.

Nothing quite like completely stripping a bike then putting it back together again
takes A LOT longer if you are restoring it as you go though ____________________ 1998 CB600F Hornet |

Used to use Bridgestone 021's on pan, 10,000 miles ridden pretty hard
Now use Avon storm 2, better grip in the wet and less pennies per mile than the bridgestones ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse? Depends on how much your willing to spend really.
I had Bridgestone BT021's which I didn't really feel that confident on in the wet but were ok in dry conditions but they wear a bit oddly TBH.
Went for some Avon Storm 2 Ultras next, done about 2k miles on them and they're still in great condition apart from I've had 2 punctures in the rear. They warm up quick and stick in the dry or wet enough for me to not get a twitchy arse when going into a bend a little too hot, got a lot of confidence in them ____________________ ZX6R F3 |
