Before you reply to this - thanks to all the Spurs, Manure, Chelski fans for the crap jokes - I've probably heard them before but send them in anyway, you never know I might have trouble sleeping and want to read them one day ....
NOW - I've had my ST3 from new six years ago and I've recently looked around with a view to changing it, but I can't find a bike I like as much. So, I think the answer is a complete strip down, refurbish or replace everything that's a bit tired and give it a new paint job, to personalise it. Bingo, a couple of grand spent and an "as-good-as-new" bike on the drive.
Problem, Ducati's are Ducati's and they don't really take to being in a livery which is too far removed from the factory finish. I've considered puting it into Arsenal FC colours but I can't seem to come up with a paint scheme that I'm really happy with - so has anyone out there got any suggestions (I warned you mancs / chelskis !!!).
If you've seen one anywhere, or can come up with a half tidy design please let me know.
I'll post the pics when it's done, probably around August / September time depending on my next trip. ____________________ Better to be scared to death than bored to death! |

Does anyone reckon there is any chance The Gunners will actually sponsor this? Could be a decent piece of marketing ala red bull cars? ____________________ Journalist, student, egotist.

If you're going to respray your bike with football team colours, it's almost vital that you re-upholster the seat as well. I have attached an image of suggested pattern for said seating.

Also, on an unrelated note, I once saw someone had paved there driveway with red bricks and grey bricks. The red bricks spelled out MAN UTD. This was in Aberdeen. ____________________ Current Bikes: Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (2020)

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper. |
