2005 WR250F front bearing size

I have tried a bit of googlefu, but seem to have only ended up with contradiction over the size I need Rolling Eyes

So, is it:-

6905-2RS (25x37x9)

Or

6904-2RS (20x37x9)

or summin else completely!! Laughing

p.s. I am trying to find out the size so I can compare prices (got a good bearing shop to go to) rather than simply blindly ordering a set for a WR!

Have you tried wemoto, im sure when i've ordered bearings off them if you hover over the i logo im sure the size comes up + you tight arse surely it only comes down to a few pence Laughing Laughing

Remove front wheel = 3 mins ?
Measure bearing with caliper gauge = 1min ~ ish
Re-fit wheel = 3mins
Total = 7mins

It's a lot quicker than trying to guess it online...

Or am i missing something silly here Laughing

I really recommend to renew the seals whilst you're changing the bearings with an offroad bike. The all balls kits are great for this. They should be about £14-16.

20x37x9 wemoto and other sites seem to suggest.

wemoto are one of the places that gave the contradictory figure - hence needing to check!! Wink

Depending on where you shop, it comes down to multiples if the price ... and if you know what you are doing, you can get EXACTLY the same bearings for a fraction of the price ... so why pay more??!?!? Razz

'All balls' wheel bearings have been slated on a few websites I have looked at (in the search for bearing sizes! Wink) - so I won't be getting any of them!!

Naa, i use my bike all year round, and go laning or offroading almost every weekend. They deffo last more then a few rides !!

No i don't know the size sorry, if you had asked this a week earlier then i could of checked Laughing

FYI I resorted to taking the thing apart! ...

Anyway, for future reference they are koyo 6904 ... mine were NON sealed ... prolly why they went in the first place Rolling Eyes

I'll be getting the 2RS ones this time!! Thumbs Up
