My local test centre (Leighton Buzzard) is fully booked for the next 12 weeks. That is as far into the future that they take bookings.

I now have a 35 mile ride to Silverstone in mid September. I have heard stories about how inaccessible these places are, but this is insane!

I have tried ringing round the local schools, in the hope that they have block booked them all and are reselling them for a fiver more, but even they are having trouble booking tests for their students.

Is it the time of year, or is it always this hard to prove you can ride? I really want to get my license before the end of summer, but if I am having to wait 3 months and take a day off work each time for travel, its going to take me years!

Man that's crazy!

I phoned on Monday morning to book mine (wasn't working online)
They had Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday available all this week.
So could have done it less than 24 hours after booking it!

That's Birmingham btw, but they did say next available would be in August if I didn't book for this week mind.

It's well worth phoning them every day to see if there's any cancellations.
