Have i made the right choice?

Im a new biker and have just brought a yamaha rxs 100 and have herd alot about the bike saying it is a really good first bike and is really easy to maintain and so on and so forth i am just wondering if i have made a good choice as i have already brought the bike it just needs a little tlc

Roll a dice. If it's odd, then yes, you made the right decision. Evens, and no, you should have bought a CG125

It's not the model bike you buy that's important, more the condition. If you paid £50 and it only needs a few tweaks for an MOT, then you're laughing. If you paid two grand and it's a bodged shitter that's turning into a black hole of need, then no, it wasn't a good choice.

Definetly mate. They're reliable little bikes and simple to work. You'll never get bored of it either, they're good fun to ride. Also they're nice and light so they're easy to manouvre. Cheap to run aswell, on insurance, petrol etc.

Doesn't matter which you got, the condition of that individual bike makes far more difference.

You have made a right choice picking the bike, but it depends on how much it's cost you for the privalege of not owning a cg.

well i got it for £100 and it needs a good clean new seat and a new twist grip but can be easily done as i got another bike from my dad that can be used for spares and parts as its not a runner at all lets say it needs a new engine wheels and other bits too much to do for a first timer..
The rxs 100 i have however is a runner just needs petrol in then will run so the guy said. i trust the guy as my father works with him and he used to own a bike shop so hopefully with a good good clean and a bit of TLC it would be in good first bike.

a tiny bit of rust here and there and the seat pan is totally recked so need a new one, the rear mud guard has a hole in just behind the number plate but gonna cut that bit off. thats bout all i can think of

I had one of them about 16 years ago. Bloody good little runner, used to take me and me daughter all over the place. Just make sure its got some decent tyres on it, not those last for ever (no grip) nylon things
