I got my bike out yesterday to go to the Uttoxeter bike show but i smelt a strong smell of petrol from the bike.

I tracked it down to the in-line fuel filters i had put in a few months ago. So i decided to go to the show in the car instead and came back with some new fuel pipe, clips and filters.

Fitted everything up and started the bike up but immediately noticed that while the one filter had filled right up, the other fuel filter had only filled up to about 1/4 the way up.

Is this right? I test rode the bike and it felt fine, no power loss, fuel starvation or anything noticeable but is it possible theres an air leak or something or is this normal.

Help appreciated before i put the side panels back on and take her for a ride

Thanks, Ant
