If I was you I'd just try it. My NSR ran better with an iridium plug, but the Bandit doesn't. Buy one of each and see which feels better.

Two strokes can give plugs a hard time. Iridiums last longer and cope with fouling better as well.

Dont expect miracles but it should start a bit easier. If its running a little rich it will also run a bit better.

Hi

Personally I am not sure I would bother. 2 stroke plugs are not long lived enough for wear resistance to be a worry, and I think I would rather have several standard plugs (and certainly a spare in the tool kit) than just one flash plug.

All the best

Keith

+1

I used to use iridium plugs in my Derbi but it eats plugs so I went back to standard. I didn't really notice a difference either tbh.
Always carry a spare under your seat.

Try using the Champion plugs instead of the cheap NGKs as I have found they last a lot longer and are much more reliable.

I have an iridium in my NSR and I can see no difference between that and the old NGK that was in. Except this one doesn't spit oil out of the plug hole because this one has a crush washer that works lol. Embarassed

I use Iridium plugs in my bike and can't say I notice any discernable difference, but then they're just a cheap on eBay whether I buy regular or iridium so I don't mind.

Your plug is either BR9ES or BR9EIX these are £2.78 and £4.90 respectively on eBay which are both probably cheaper than Halfords or dealers.
