https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201023360706948/sort/priceasc/usedbikes/model/duke/make/ktm/quicksearch/true/page/1/radius/1501/

The KTM I bought that was a total wreck, back up for sale with the original pictures and still stating it has 8,300 miles on the clock when I know it has 8,460 odd.

It aint got a FSH either!

I took the mirrors off it as soon as I got it, then when they picked it back up the next day, I forgot to send the mirrors with it. He keeps asking me for them.

For the luxury of me having to pay £120 to have it delivered, he can have the mirrors back for £120 + P&P

Post the reply in here mate, I'd be very interested to see what he says too.

I bet you it's something along the lines of, "It's seen a few winters".

To summarize:-

Exhausts had rusted to death and holes in them.
Link pipe was proper horrible.
Overall condition of the engine casings and other shiney bits were rusted to doom.
Got the bike, took out for about 10 miles and it died on me. (Battery was doomed).

It was just a general nail and not worth the money I paid for it, which is the same as what it's up for now.

Before they agreed to give my money back, he said he had sourced a new exhaust system on ebay and was going to buy it. If he had replaced it, surely he would want to show this in the pictures? Makes me think he didn't buy it and is going to try and sell it on in the condition it left me.

Hi, you are right I have seen a few shabby examples but these are particularly clean.
Thanks

and 3 photos which I can't figure out how to show but they show perfect pipes even better than the ones in the ad!!!!!!!!!

The link pipes that you said are full of holes are perfect so may be he has replaced them? But you would have thought he would have said they had new pipes on

I think he's replaced them but he doesn't want to say because that might indicate something has been wrong for them to have been replaced in the first place.

Goto: https://www.tinypic.com click browse, find the photos and upload them, then paste them on here between [img] [/img] tag to display them.

I'll upload the pictures I have of them to show you what they looked like.
