Respraying a Hornet

Anyone know a good place in the Dorset area to get a bike sprayed? Its a Honda Hornet, so not too much body work, Mudguard, Tank, underseat panels, Tail.

Would a car place be able to do it? Want it Ford RS Orange, so its a colour they would stock. Just wondered if theres any reason they couldn't.

So pretty much any recommendations of places, bike or car to get it done. Aswell as a rough price if you took your bike there.

You could always DIY... get the tank back to bare metal, rough up the other parts and spray.

I'm not doing it myself, i want this to be nearly a show condition bike, that i use everyday.

Yes, ST Orange, swear the RS comes in the same orange though...?

I'm going to 2 Body shops tomorrow, i just want it to be cheap AND a really good finish.

Doubt Bodyshops would apply decals and laquer them in though.

I bought a cat d car with a huge dent in the rear quarter and front side wing. Got a new wing and the dent in the rear quarter was repaired. Full respray on that side of the car - good as new.£500 cash. Well pleased with it.Thats from Poole bodyworks. I had a couple of bike bits sprayed for reasonable prices as well although never a whole bike. Give 'em a ring if you're near Poole - they do decals etc...as well.

How much were the bike bits? might give me a rough idea.

Did it look factory good? Thats what im trying to achieve. I'll give them a ring, im down in Weymouth.

Rear seat unit sprayed metallic green for £90. Spot-on, deffo factory condition. The rest were only very small bits so prob not applicable. I dont know if it would be the cheapest option or not but they do a perfect job. When we got our car done all the other bodyshops said it wouldnt look like new but Poole bodyworks were confident they could make it look 100% and it was. Hope you get a good deal anyway.

Only had one quote so far, which was from Hard Rocks in Bournemouth, £400, but they're up there with Dream Machines, do a lot of work for Suzuki Crescent.

Around £300 and i'll be happy, as i said not TOO much to be painted, its just gotta be right Razz

Well my WHOLE car is getting stripped back to metal and repaired and painted for £900... im sure £300 is a bit much to do your bike.
You only have mudguards and a tank and rear panels right?

Don't paint the side panels, leave them standard. Hornets looks weird with a big line of colour all the way from the front to back.
