To name just a few: I find these posts really offensive. How come these people are gaining karma for these posts when I get negative karma for a post I spent the best part of 30 min writing trying not to offend anyone. Okay I guess people are allowed to disagree with me but it just offends me that people can post messages about something so important to some and not take any care not to offend them.

Religion does play a major part in providing charity. Maybe you only see the adminastrive part in the uk but here in SA you see the work that they are actually doing. Christian organisations are by far the most active amoungst the poorer in SA.

o.k. if the God or the supreme being created everything..... where did he come from ? was there a mummy and daddy god before him ? if he "just "existed then surely the afore mentioned energy could have also done the same ? (p.s. this bit is a bit stupid so I don't think we should argue over it Neutral )

hence my saying that the big bang theory is no more beliavable than religion. I was in no way trying to sat the big bang theory was wrong. It just bugs me when people act like religious people are so thick when they don't even think about it properly themselves

Why should we stifle our own views just because they clash with someone else's?

Last time I checked my life was my own and I could say what I wished.

I did not say that you have to change them just be more conciderate to others.

People could have said what they wanted to say whiles being more conciderate.

Taking the errors found in most religious text's into account it's very easy to class religious people as 'thick' as they latch onto the good stuff and ignore/deny the existance of the errors.

Seem's to be a tradition of having the same religious debate over and over.

The last one was only about 2 months ago.

Is there any proof religion isn't fake?

The thing that struck me was what my 7 year old cousin said to my mum after he had been to Spain "I thought God and dead people were in heaven, I didn't see any, where are they Auntie"?

Isn't that just about as false as some religions can get, it has been drummed into children that Heaven is in the Sky and Hell is underground. If people wish to believe in a religion then do so, but brainwashing innocent children's minds with utter rubbish will get nobody no where.

As for the BNP, they are margionally racist yet hold views which the public would be scared to say in public with fear of getting arrested on racial issues. Doesn't that remind you of Nazism where nobody was allowed to say a single bad thing about the Nazi's. If I shouted across the street "look at that black twat" I would get far more done than if I said "Look at that Cher lookalike of a twat over there". Hardly freedom of speech is it?

Peace out. Cool

Thumbs Up to Somers. He states what he wants to say without calling anyone dumb or stating how he f*cking hates people x.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with kids thinking that heaven is in the sky and hell is underground. Kids are allowed to beleive that santa is real, how is that any different?

It's not Santa is a sybol of Christmas which is another Christian festivity.

The only myth or legend I can think of that doesn't involve religion would be the "Tooth Fairy". Thumbs Up

if only the good parts of each religon could be taken, then yes, the world would be a better place, but in all religons there are people who read into for there own purpose and twist it and ruin it for every one else....

Everybody calm down, Religion is not a big part of life in the west anymore but it is in the middle east. I don't have a problem with religion or religious people, they can do what they want.

Political correctness is getting out of control these days, you cant do anything without getting in trouble for it unless you act like a vicar (without the pedo bit).

Religion is mostly something to belive in, and you can't say they are wrong because you don't like it. What if you went and told one of them that they are c**ts for being religious? they would have the same right to tell us , Your a c**t for being a biker.

People just need to get along with each other accept that everybody has a right to belive in what they want.

For all arguments about religion that exist today they can be seen fair from both sides. The same can be said for everything, so lets all chill out have a fag or a pint, or what ever you like to relax.

It is a shame we can't stick sound clips on the background i think that that "were is the love" would make a good theme for this post.

Hope i don't get bad karma from this Thumbs Up
