Before I took on all my bike servicing myself I used Woodford Motorcycles and seemed to have good results from them, although being a dealer I'd suspect they would be expensive, and I know they didn't stick to the exact service schedule for my bike (never topped up the battery or greased certain parts after a certain mileage etc but I'm nit picking here). After hearing so many bad stories about dodgy workshops, I would never take my bike to one again unless there was something monumentally wrong with it.
The stuff you describe is quite straightforward to do if you have a service/Haynes manual by your side and the right tools and of course, time. Save yourself a fortune in labour charges and know that the job was done correctly! ____________________ CBT February 2008 | A2 June 2008 | Yamaha YBR125 (written off) | Honda CBF125 (current) |
