Hi all

Just a quick line or two to introduce myself.

Having become increasingly peeved by all or most of my closest mates selling their Scoobs, Evos and Atoms to become bikers I finally bit the bullet at the beginning of June.

Booked my CBT for a Saturday and went and bought all the right clothing and a decent lid.

Passed CBT on a Saturday
Theory the following Thursday
Mod 1 the following Wednesday
and finally Mod 2 just this Monday
All done and dusted within a couple of weeks,

Managed to find myself a beautiful '08 GSX-R 600 with low miles for a very nice price, and I am now a confirmed bikelist.

Taking it VERY steady to begin with, but I'm already so glad that I went through with it all, as are the mateys, who knew nothing about it until I pulled into the local car park alongside them and removed my lid.

Here's to happy days Smile

Congrats.
Hope you enjoy going out on the bike as much as we do.
And take it easy on that gixxer in the beginning. They're the devil!

You're not wrong. A little squirt out of a roundabout yesterday, looked at the clock expecting to see 80 or so... saw something with a 1 and a 4 and possibly another figure.
Shit it shifts!

Honestly thought I'd got it set to read KMH the first time out
