Hi all,
Had abit of a search and read a few threads on the Sanya sy-125.
Had to rescue a nipper at work today after his bike died on the way in. Looks like it's lost all the gearbox oil, possibly through a loose or ill fitting bolt on the bottom of the case.
I haven't started the autopsy yet {tomorrow lunchtime's project} but i was wondering if anybody else had this problem?
It's difficult to call as the gear casing is covered in scuffs where he's had along the road a few times.
He had the bike 'serviced' {oil and filters apparently} two weeks ago.
I've told him to go back to the place and ask questions, but he's a teenager and has better things to do apparently, like X-Box.
The lad reckons he found some oil underneath the bike recently but thought nothing of it
I know an old fashioned fitter and turner with a garage workshop, so i can get bits machined if necessary, but i'd like to know how this oil escaped first?
Any help appreciated {Don't worry it's currently parked next to the scrap metal bin } ____________________ Don't forget to call my lawyers with ridiculous demands |
